Make your own personality quiz, free.

Build a personality quiz in a few minutes. Yours shows real 0–100 scores instead of a single label, and on every answer it captures how sure the person actually was. No sign-up to build. No sign-up for them to take it.

Start from the Big Five template.

Clone our Big Five personality quiz in one tap and make it yours: keep the ten trait questions or swap in your own. Your takers get all five traits as 0–100 scores, not a four-letter box.

Why a quiz you build here is different

Your takers see the gradient, not a box.

Most quiz makers give the people who take your quiz a label and a badge: one of four types, one of sixteen boxes. A quiz you build here shows real scores from 0 to 100 on each thing you measure. People are a blend, not a box, and the scores let them see where they actually land, including the honest middle.

You see how sure they were, on every answer.

This is the part no other quiz maker gives you. As someone drags the puck to answer, it reads how they moved: straight and certain, or hesitant and back-and-forth. So for every question you get two things, not one: where people landed, and how sure they were. No camera. No extra "how confident are you?" question. It just comes with answering.

Free to build, free to share, nothing to install.

Building your quiz is free. Publishing it is free. Sharing the link is free, and the people you send it to need no account to take it. If PuckSurveys is useful to you, you can leave a tip, but nothing is behind a paywall and nothing is charged.

Personality is the natural first quiz, but the same tool builds any quiz where you want the real answer instead of a box: a team working-styles read, a "which of us said what" group quiz, a values or conflict-style check-in, a class exercise. Ask it as puck questions, and every answer carries how sure people were.

How it works

  1. Start from the Big Five template or a blank quiz.
  2. Write your questions. Each one is a puck, so people answer in degrees instead of ticking a box.
  3. Publish and share the link. No account needed to take it.
  4. Watch the results come in: where people landed on each question, and how sure they were.

Questions people ask

How do I make my own personality quiz?

Two ways, both free. Clone our Big Five template and edit it, or start from a blank quiz and write your own puck questions. Publish, and you get a link to share. The people who take it need no account, and you see their results as real scores plus how sure they were on each answer.

Is it free to make a personality quiz here?

Yes. Building, publishing, and sharing are all free, and there is no paywall on the results. Taking your quiz is free too, with no sign-up for your respondents. If the tool is useful you can leave a tip, but nothing is charged.

Do people need an account to take my quiz?

No. You share a link and they answer. No sign-up, no email, no app to install. That is usually the biggest reason people abandon a quiz, so removing it means more of them finish yours.

What makes a PuckSurveys quiz different from other quiz makers?

Two things. Your takers see real 0–100 scores instead of a single type or label. And on every answer, the tool captures how sure the person was, automatically, from how they moved the puck. No other self-serve quiz maker gives you that conviction read as a by-product of answering, with no camera and no extra question.

Can I build a real Big Five personality test?

Yes. Clone the Big Five template and it comes with ten trait questions drawn from the public-domain IPIP trait markers, scoring all five traits as 0–100 reads. It gives a fast, directional snapshot for reflection, not a clinical or certified assessment, and it makes no medical claims. Edit the questions freely, or keep them as they are.

How long does it take to build one?

A few minutes for a short quiz. Each puck question takes about as long to write as a sentence, and the Big Five template gives you a full ten-question quiz to start from in one tap.

Can I make a quiz about something other than personality?

Yes. The same tool builds team working-styles quizzes, group "who said what" quizzes, values and conflict-style check-ins, class exercises, and more. Anything you can ask as a puck question, you can build, and every answer still carries how sure people were.
