The more quizzes you take, the better your picks get.

Acoustic or electric, slide or bent notes, harmonica or piano: your blues taste, scored. Real scores from 0 to 100 on each dimension, not a box, and the puck notices how you answer, not only what.

Questions people ask

Is this scientific?

No. It's a quick read of the blues sounds you enjoy, for fun. It describes what you reach for right now, and both ends of every scale are good places to land.

What's the difference between slide and bent notes?

A slide player glides a glass or metal tube along the strings, so the note slips smoothly from pitch to pitch. A bent note comes from pushing a string sideways with a finger until the pitch rises. If you're not sure, answer for the guitar sounds you like.

Where do the record picks come from?

From the albums our catalog tags as blues, which for now are all blues-rock records. Your answers shape your read, not this list, so every lean sees the same records. Records you've already been shown in another result step aside, so the list can run short or go missing. Nothing is sponsored.

Why does it care how I answered?

The puck notices how you answer, not only what. Where you paused or went back and forth, your taste probably depends on the song. Where you answered fast, you know your mind.
