Is this scientific?
No. It's a taste read built on a few well-studied preference patterns, for fun. It describes what you reach for in metal right now, not how much you know about it.
Do I need to know metal's subgenres to take this?
No. Nothing here asks you to name a band, a scene or a subgenre. Every statement is about what you enjoy while the music is playing.
Where do the record picks come from?
From the metal albums in our own catalog, a small shelf. Your answers shape the read, not this list, so every lean sees the same records. Nothing is sponsored.
What does the hesitation line mean?
The puck notices how you answer, not only what. Where you paused or went back and forth, your taste probably depends on the song. Where you answered fast, you know your mind.
