The more quizzes you take, the better your picks get.

Dubbed or subtitled, director-led or star-led, one country deep or a world tour: your taste in films from abroad, scored. Real scores from 0 to 100 on each dimension, not a box, and the puck notices how you answer, not only what.

Questions people ask

Is this scientific?

No. It's a taste read for fun, not a test. Your scores describe what you reach for right now, and both ends of every scale are good places to land.

What counts as world cinema here?

Films with much of their dialogue in a language other than English, from anywhere. Watched with subtitles or with a dub, they count.

Does leaning Dubbed make me less of a film fan?

No. Dubbed and Subtitled are two ways into the same films. The result names your lean; it doesn't grade it.

Where do the picks come from?

From the well-known world cinema in our own catalog, from many countries and decades. The best-known come first, and your answers don't change the order. Nothing is sponsored.
