Is this scientific?
No. It's a taste read built on a few well-studied preference patterns, for fun. It says how you like a mystery told, nothing about how clever you are.
Will it spoil anything?
No. No statement names a movie or describes a specific twist. The picks at the end are titles only.
Why does it care how I answered?
The puck reads pace as well as position. Where you hovered, your taste probably depends on the movie. Where you went straight there, you know.
Where do the picks come from?
From the mysteries, noirs, psychological films and mind-bending science fiction in our own catalog, matched to your ride along vs work it out and all answered vs left open scores. If those two pull equally hard in opposite directions, they cancel out and you get the best-known ones instead. Your play fair vs surprise me score doesn't change the list. Nothing is sponsored.
