The more quizzes you take, the better your picks get.

Motive or mystery, charm or dread, puppet strings or bare hands: your taste in villains, scored. Real scores from 0 to 100 on each dimension, not a box, and the puck notices how you answer, not only what.

Questions people ask

Is this scientific?

No. It's a taste read built on a few well-studied preference patterns, for fun. Your scores describe the villains you reach for right now, not a theory of evil.

Is a scary villain better than a fun one?

No. A villain who makes you laugh is as hard to write as one who makes you check the locks. The result says which you reach for, not which is the real thing.

Why are there no picks?

Our catalog doesn't mark what kind of villain a story has, so a list couldn't tell a charming schemer from a faceless threat. We'd rather show nothing than guess.

What does the hesitation line mean?

The puck notices how you answer, not only what. Where you paused or went back and forth, your answer probably depends on which villain you were picturing. Where you answered fast, you know your mind.
