Make a working-styles quiz for your team, free.

Build a short quiz in a few minutes and share a link. Yours shows where each teammate lands on every question instead of a single letter, and on every answer it captures how sure they actually were. No sign-up to build. No sign-up for them to take it.

Start from the Big Five template.

Clone our Big Five quiz in one tap and make it a team read: keep the ten questions or reword them for how your team works. Everyone gets five 0 to 100 scores instead of a four-letter box, so you see a blend, not a type.

Build one from scratch.

Write your own questions as pucks: how we make calls, how we handle conflict, how we like to plan. Publish, share the link, and every answer comes back with how the person leaned and how sure they were, so you see conviction, not just a tally.

Why a team quiz you build here is different

Your team sees the gradient, not a box.

Most team quizzes hand each person a letter or a colour: one of four types, one of sixteen boxes. A quiz you build here shows real scores from 0 to 100 on each thing you ask about. People are a blend, not a box, and the scores let a team see where each person actually lands, including the honest middle where most of us live.

You see how firmly each person holds it, on every answer.

This is the part no other team tool gives you. As someone drags the puck to answer, it reads how they moved: straight and certain, or hesitant and back-and-forth. So for every question you get two things, not one: where a teammate landed, and how sure they were. On a team that is the useful part. A values or conflict-style question where everyone is firmly dug in is a very different conversation from one where people are genuinely open, and now you can tell which is which. No camera. No extra "how confident are you?" question. It just comes with answering.

Free to build, free to share, nothing to install.

Building your quiz is free. Publishing it is free. Sharing the link with your team is free, and everyone you send it to needs no account to take it. If PuckSurveys is useful to your team, you can leave a tip, but nothing is behind a paywall and nothing is charged per person.

Working styles is the natural first one, but the same tool builds any team read where you want the real answer instead of a box: a conflict-style check-in before a hard project, a values alignment read for a new team, a "how we like to plan and make calls" working-agreement starter, a retro pulse, an offsite ice-breaker with actual substance. Ask it as puck questions, and every answer carries how sure people were.

How it works

  1. Start from the Big Five template or a blank quiz.
  2. Write your questions. Each one is a puck, so your team answers in degrees instead of ticking a box.
  3. Publish and share the link. No account needed for anyone to take it.
  4. Watch the results come in: where each person landed on every question, and how sure they were.

Questions people ask

How do I make a quiz for my team?

Two ways, both free. Clone our Big Five template and reword it for your team, or start from a blank quiz and write your own puck questions about how you work together. Publish, and you get a link to share. Everyone who takes it needs no account, and you see their results as real scores plus how sure each person was on each answer.

Is it free to make a team quiz here?

Yes. Building, publishing, and sharing are all free, and there is no paywall on the results. Taking it is free too, with no sign-up for your team. Nothing is charged per person. If the tool is useful you can leave a tip, but nothing is required.

Does my team need accounts to take the quiz?

No. You share one link and they answer. No sign-up, no email, no app to install. That is usually the biggest reason people drop out of a quiz, so removing it means more of your team actually finishes it.

What makes this different from the personality tests we take at work?

Two things. The fixed tests hand each person a single type or letter. A quiz you build here shows real 0 to 100 scores on each thing you ask, so you see a blend instead of a box. And on every answer, the tool captures how sure the person was, automatically, from how they moved the puck. No other self-serve team tool gives you that conviction read as a by-product of answering, with no camera and no extra question.

Can I use the Big Five for a work or team quiz?

Yes, and it is a solid choice. The Big Five is the personality framework research most consistently links to how people actually work, more so than the four-box tests. Clone the Big Five template, keep or reword the ten questions for your team, and everyone gets five 0 to 100 reads. It is a fast, directional snapshot for a conversation, not a clinical assessment and not a basis for any hiring or evaluation decision.

Can I use this to hire or evaluate people?

No, and please do not. This builds a snapshot for a team conversation, not a test for ranking, hiring, or evaluating anyone. Personality reads are not valid for those decisions on their own, and we make no such claim. Use it to understand each other and start better conversations.

How long does it take to build one?

A few minutes for a short quiz. Each puck question takes about as long to write as a sentence, and the Big Five template gives you a full ten-question quiz to start from in one tap.

Can I build a team quiz about something other than working styles?

Yes. The same tool builds conflict-style check-ins, values alignment reads, "how we plan and make calls" working-agreement starters, retro pulses, and offsite ice-breakers. Anything you can ask as a puck question, you can build, and every answer still carries how sure people were.
