How it works

  1. Slide your honest answer to 10 short statements.
  2. We score two dimensions, attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance, from 0 to 100.
  3. You see both scores, plus the style they lean toward, with a plain-English read. Then make your own.

Questions people ask

What are the four attachment styles?

Secure (steady with closeness), anxious-preoccupied (craves closeness and reassurance), dismissing-avoidant (values independence over closeness), and fearful-avoidant (wants closeness and pulls back from it). They come from two dials, anxiety and avoidance, so most people sit somewhere between, not squarely in one.

Is this a real attachment test?

It's a quick, honest snapshot built on well-established attachment science (Bowlby, Ainsworth, and the anxiety-by-avoidance model). It's not a clinical or certified assessment and makes no medical claims. It's for reflection, not diagnosis.

Can my attachment style change?

Yes. Attachment is a pattern, not a fixed trait. It shifts with time, life events, and the specific people you're close to. This quiz captures where you lean lately, not a label for life.

How long does it take?

About 30 seconds. Ten quick slides.

Do I need to sign up?

No. Take it and see your result with no email and no account. If you want to build and share your own quiz, that's free too.
