Games cafe / shop night feedback

For board game cafes and game shops: whether the regular night works for newcomers as well as regulars.

The conviction read: the wobble on 'found a table to join' comes from the people who came alone. They won't complain, and they won't come back; a host who matches tables fixes it in one night.

Questions about this template

When is the best moment to hand this out?

At the end of the night, before people leave, with the link on a card at each table. Newcomers are often the least likely to come back, so asking on the night reaches them while you still can.

What helps when 'found a table to join' lands low?

Give one host the job of matching people who come alone to a table, with a clear spot by the door to wait. Then watch the item on new players being made welcome, since a seat at a table and a warm table are not the same thing.
