How do I get the crowd to answer?
Share the link from the stage before the last song and at the door on the way out, then once more the next day. Answers from the same night remember the sound and the sightlines best.
What if 'sound was clear from where I stood' splits?
A split often comes from where people stood rather than the mix as a whole. Since your copy is editable, add an item such as I stood near the front, then pass the result to whoever runs the sound.
