Venue scouting check

For the planning team after a venue visit: how well this place fits the event we have in mind.

The conviction read: a venue visit tends to end with everyone being polite in front of the venue manager. A slow, hedged agree on 'Getting here will be easy' is often a travel worry worth raising before anyone signs a booking.

Questions about this template

How do I compare two venues?

Use the template for the first venue, then Duplicate that copy from your survey list for the second, put each venue in its title, and send both to the same planning team. Reading the spreads on the same items shows which venue the team is surer about, not just which one looks better on average.

Should people answer before or after talking it over?

Before. Once the loudest voice on the trip home has had its say, quieter doubts tend to fold into it. Answers given first keep each person's own read.
